My CV

I am a Consultant Psychiatrist working within the NHS in Birmingham. I graduated with a medical degree from Leeds University (MB ChB) and after completing Pre-Registration House Officer positions within Yorkshire, completed my basic training in Psychiatry on the Leeds SHO rotation before completing higher training in General Adult Psychiatry within the South West. I am a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) I am registered with the General Medical Council as a specialist in General Adult Psychiatry with an accreditation within Rehabilitation Psychiatry. I also completed a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychiatry (MMedSc Awarded with Merit from Leeds University) and a Masters Degree in Mental Health Law (LLM awarded with Commendation from Northumbria University). I am approved under Section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983. I have been awarded a Certificate of Training in the administration and coding of the Autism Diagnostic Interview - Revised (ADI-R) to level of Clinical Reliability (Beginning with A, 2011). I am accredited in the use of the Diagnostic Interview for Social and Community Disorders (DISCO) user License Agreement No. 2202 (Lorna Wing Centre, 2012).

I am an examiner for the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
